Church in the Community


If you are reading this then you have found our new website! Welcome. You will have noticed a new name, new identity but the old message! We want to be a church that first, serves God. We know God and love Him through our relationship with Jesus Christ and we want everyone to know about it! Second, we want to be a church that serves and loves our local community and so that is why we have identified with this through our new name, Church in The Community, (CITC). We trust and pray that this will become part of the DNA of each person who is part of this church working in different sites in the Swansea and Neath Valley’s. As you probably already know we have had a presence in Ystradgynlais (Saron) and Skewen (Salem) for many years. People faithfully gathering for worship, working and spreading the good news that Jesus Christ is alive. We don’t want to forget this, it is an important part of our history and so we also honour all those who have walked, worked and worshiped in these churches over the years and the legacy they leave for us. Mark was brought up in Hereford and arrived here in Wales in 2006 via Africa. Mark lived in Mozambique for 8 years working alongside local Pastors to establish the Apostolic Church in that nation. He is married to Julie and enjoys reading, travel and photography in his spare time.
