The aim of the module is to provide students with a foundational introduction to major religions (Content) specifically within contemporary Britain (Context) and to encourage the development of a sensitive and thoughtful approach to engaging with adherents of faiths other than Christianity (Character) by exploring a biblically based and theologically sound response to major world religions (Competence).
